About Us

WildLandscapes East Africa (WLEA) is a registered nonprofit conservation organization based in Kenya working to protect critical landscapes and wildlife across East Africa.

Community Leadership in Conservation

WildLandscapes East Africa (WLEA) works to protect some of the region’s most important landscapes and wildlife while supporting the communities who live alongside them.

From the savannah ecosystems of Kenya to emerging conservation landscapes across the region, WLEA partners with governments, conservation organizations, and local communities to restore habitat, protect wildlife, and develop sustainable conservation models.

Our work focuses on long-term landscape conservation: connecting ecosystems, supporting community stewardship, and ensuring that wildlife and people can thrive together.
